Cokorda Martin

Balinese artist Cokorda Martin brings his childhood and culture into each piece he creates. He was introduced to the art of making Barong and Tabuh at an early age by his father and grandfather. This kick-started a life-long passion for creating that evolved from drawing and cartooning to digital art. Pulling inspiration from traditions such as wayang and mythological imagery, Cokorda blends contemporary simplicity with historical exaggeration in a beautiful way. The result is traditional Balinese art with a modern feel.
