What size is an A3 frame?
An A3 frame holds an A3 print, 29.7 × 42 cm (11.7 × 16.5 in). The outside of the frame is bigger by the moulding width, for example about 36.7 × 49 cm with a 35 mm moulding.
What fits in an A3 frame?
A 29.7 × 42 cm picture fits exactly. With a mount, smaller pictures also work: A4 print (about 4.4 cm border at the sides and 6.2 cm top and bottom); 10x8 photo (about 4.7 cm border at the sides and 8.3 cm top and bottom); A5 print (about 7.5 cm border at the sides and 10.5 cm top and bottom).
