Sophie Deller

Sophie Deller is a London-based experimental artist whose practice comes from a background in photography. She is drawn to the fleeting, unposed moments of street and documentary photography, and her art is guided by the same sense of spontaneity. Often starting with a single hue or shape, she lets each piece evolve almost naturally, exploring everyday objects and scenes by reducing them to their simplest, most playful forms. Negative space, texture, and intuition are at the centre of her process.
