Petrouchkaka

Originally from Brittany and resident in Brussels since 2018, Caroline aka Petrouchkaka started her practice in a nomadic way. She's a free spirit who's always been on the move. Her detailed, pop and colourful illustrations feature hybrid characters with bird heads, celebrating the female body and the diversity of its curves, symbolising strength and freedom. She likes to incorporate references from pop culture into her work, as well as more personal messages, which resonate like a treasure hunt in her work.
