Lucy Reed is a London-based acrylic and mixed-media artist whose work explores colour, texture and emotional response through bold, contemporary compositions. Entirely self-taught, she began painting in 2020 and quickly developed a distinctive visual language inspired by surrounding environments, movement, architecture, travel and visually stimulating spaces.
Her work is particularly influenced by the landscapes of Arizona and the Americas, drawing on vast desert expanses, sun-drenched terrain, open horizons and contrasts. These influences are reflected throughout her paintings in the form of colour-saturated pigments, layered textures and atmospheric compositions that evoke both stillness and movement.
