Uyo66 is a cartoonist from Indonesia who’s heavily inspired by retro cartoon styles. He’s kind of “trapped” in the charm of vintage animation, and over time, he’s developed a unique style by blending old-school cartoon vibes with a modern twist, and one of the most recognisable features is his signature eye style, which he calls “Eyes of Luv.” These eyes are his way of expressing and dedicating his deep love for all forms of art. Through this mix, he creates the kind of art he truly loves. Each piece reflects his deep love for cartoons, a nostalgic throwback to the sweet childhood days spent watching animated shows and reading comics. His work often explores the absurdity of fantasy and the strangeness of tragic moments.
