projekt AM

Projekt AM is an independent design practice founded by Agata Malinowska, a Polish-born designer and artist based in London. Rooted in drawing, the practice moves between illustration, visual storytelling, and design, using drawing as both a creative tool and a way of thinking long before design became a conscious career path.

Inspired by architecture, interiors, furniture, Scandinavian aesthetics, and the emerging Polish design scene, Projekt AM explores the space where art and design meet. Rather than working within rigid disciplines, the practice moves fluidly between hand-drawn and digital illustration, object design, and spatial thinking, choosing the medium that best suits each idea.

The work often begins with familiar forms - a chair, a house, an interior, an everyday object - which are subtly transformed through unexpected proportions, bold colour, playful compositions, and gently surreal narratives. Each piece is designed as a small visual story, inviting curiosity and rewarding a closer look.

Projekt AM has collaborated with brands including Lunette and Slowdown Studio, and has presented work in exhibitions across Europe, including creative direction and branding for the Honest Craftsmanship – The Impact of Polish Heartbeat exhibition at 3 Days of Design in Copenhagen.
