About the Artist
Artwork Specification
Printing
Our artworks are giclée printed with 12 pigment-based inks for exceptional sharpness, colour accuracy and vibrancy. We print on smooth, museum-quality Fine Art Paper (200gsm) as standard, with the option to upgrade to Hahnemühle German Etching (310gsm) for a softly textured, velvety finish that adds depth and character. An East Side Studio London archival print will last for upwards of 100 years. You won't find the same vibrancy and quality elsewhere.
Framing
Choose our Classic Frame for a slim, timeless profile handcrafted from sustainably sourced Obeche, or upgrade to a Box Frame in solid Ash with a deeper 33 mm profile that showcases the wood’s natural grain. All frames are made-to-order by Guild Certified Framers, finished with optically clear, shatterproof acrylic with UV protection, and sealed at the back to help preserve your artwork.
Mounts
Our mounts are bevel-cut from bright white mount board. Artworks 12" x 16" or larger come with a 2" mount and artworks smaller than 12" x 16" come with a 1.5" mount. Note that only specific artworks have the option to add a mount.
Sizing
If you're in the UK or EU, your order will be printed in metric sizes (e.g. 20" x 28" becomes 50cm x 70cm). In the US or Australia, we use inches. If you're using your own frame, just make sure the sizing matches your region. You can check all size conversions here.

- We only use FSC approved wood from sustainably managed forests.
- We seal your frame to keep out dust and debris, which prolongs the lifetime of the artwork.
Precision Printing
- We giclée print our artworks with 12 pigment-based inks for unmatched sharpness, colour accuracy and vibrancy.
- We print on heavy, archival-quality, fine art papers, hand-picked for their outstanding appearance. Choose our smooth fine art paper (200gsm) or upgrade to Hahnemühle German Etching (310gsm), whose velvety texture adds depth and a luxury feel.
- Every print goes through a colour-managed workflow, soft-proofing and hand inspection before dispatch. When properly cared for, an East Side Studio London archival print will last for 100+ years.
Gallery Mounting
- A mount can draw focus to the artwork by creating a smaller viewing window inside the frame. We love them for a more refined look.
- We bevel-cut our mounts from sustainably sourced, acid-free, bright white mount board.
- Artworks smaller than 12" x 16" come with a 1.5" mount, and those 12" x 16" or larger come with a 2" mount.

Artwork FAQs
How are your prints made?
We've partnered with the best printers around the globe to create our Giclée fine art prints. Each print is produced on demand, to help avoid waste. We print using 12 different pigments for unmatched colour accuracy and incredible detail. Read more about our print process here.
What’s the difference between standard fine art paper and Hahnemühle German Etching?
Both papers are museum-grade and archival. Our standard fine art paper (200gsm) is a smooth, matte stock that delivers crisp detail and excellent colour accuracy. Hahnemühle German Etching (310gsm) is heavier, luxurious paper with a softly textured, velvety surface. It adds visible depth and a tactile, fine-art feel.
Texture can slightly soften ultra-fine lines at small sizes, which some collectors love, whilst others prefer smooth. Both papers are a fantastic option. Hahnemühle German Etching is our go-to recommendation when you're looking for something extra special.
What's the difference between Classic and Box Frames?
Our Classic Frames have a slim square (21mm) profile for a timeless, understated look that works beautifully in gallery walls and minimalist interiors. Our black and white options have a smooth satin finish.
Our Box Frames have a 21mm face and a depth of 33mm, adding depth and presence. Made from solid Ash, they showcase the organic grain of the wood and can be stained black or white, or left natural - perfect for statement pieces, or a gift with a luxury touch
Both are handmade by Guild Certified Framers, finished with optically clear, shatterproof acrylic and sealed on the back.
