Our Oak canvas tray frame is a slim wooden float frame crafted from pine, featuring a barefaced finish that highlights its natural grain. Handmade to Order
Each of our frames is handcrafted to order by Guild Certified Framers. This wooden canvas tray frame has a 9mm face width and is designed to fit a canvas with a depth of 26mm.
If your canvas is deeper than this, it will protrude slightly beyond the front edge of the frame. If it is shallower, it will sit slightly recessed within the frame.
A 5mm shadow gap is included around your canvas, so there is no need to allow for this when providing your measurements.
Hanging Mechanism
Our frames come supplied with a hanging mechanism, allowing you to display artwork in both landscape and portrait orientations.
All canvas tray frames are supplied with velcro pads, which allow you to adhere your canvas to the base of the frame.
Small to medium sized frames will come with sawtooth style hangers.
Frames A1 and larger will come with D cord and string.

We work with the most reliable shipping partners to ensure great care is taken from producing your order, all the way through to delivery. What is a Guild Certified Framer?
A Guild Certified Framer (GCF) is a professional accreditation that the UK‑based Fine Art Trade Guild introduced in 1994 as a benchmark of skill, knowledge and ethical practice for picture framers worldwide. To earn the title, a framer had to pass a rigorous, face‑to‑face examination that assesses both practical craftsmanship and theoretical understanding of materials, conservation principles and industry standards.
Will I have to pay customs charges/import taxes?
If ordering from outside of the UK, you will likely be subject to import taxes. We are not responsible for any taxes owed or delays due to unpaid customs fees.
How long will it take to get my order?
Our frames are usually produced and dispatched within 3-5 working days.
